Patrick Brophy

Chief of Operations

Xổ số may mắn hàng tuầnA twenty-four year veteran of city government, Patrick Brophy is Mayor Martin J. Walsh’s Chief of Operations for Boston.

Xổ số may mắn hàng tuầnAs Chief of Operations, Brophy oversees the Public Facilities Department, the Property Management Department, and the Inspectional Services Department.

Xổ số may mắn hàng tuầnBoston’s Public Facilities Department (PFD) is the City’s construction management department, responsible for executing Mayor Walsh’s multi-year, $500 million capital building program. PFD is responsible for all major municipal building programming, design, and construction.

The Property Management Department is responsible for the use, management, maintenance, building security, and repair of the City’s municipal building inventory. Responsibilities include Boston City Hall and the Plaza, 1010 Mass. Ave, City Archives, Faneuil Hall, and the Old State House.

The Inspectional Services Department enforces building, housing, health, sanitation, and safety regulations mandated by the City and State. The department is made up of five regulatory divisions whose mission is to protect and improve the quality of life for all Boston residents and the business community.

Xổ số may mắn hàng tuầnAdditionally, Chief Brophy serves as the Secretary for the Dudley Square Realty Corporation (the legal entity that manages the Bruce C. Bolling Municipal Building) and serves as the Chairman of the Boston School Building committee.

Prior to his appointment as Boston’s Chief of Operations, Patrick Brophy worked as the Associate Director of Government and Community Relations at Harvard University. While employed at Harvard University, Mr. Brophy served as a member of the City of Boston Public Facilities Commission and as a member of Mayor-elect Martin J. Walsh’s Transition Team.

Patrick Brophy is a Boston Latin Academy graduate and hold a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Northeastern University.
