- Reduced capacity: Effective December 26, 2020, until January 10, 2021 (unless further extended by the Governor), restaurants will be required to reduce seating capacity by 25 percent (excluding staff).
- Bar Seating Plan application (as of Monday, December 14, 2020): Due to the incoming public health metrics, bar seating in the City of Boston will be closed for a minimum of three weeks beginning Wednesday, December 16, 2020, but may be permitted with an express written approval by the Licensing Board for the City of Boston. In order to safely utilize the bar seating, licensees must submit a to the Board for review and approval.
- Common Victualler (no alcohol) renewal applications deadline has been extended until November 30, 2020. Please email the Board at RenewCV2021@boston.gov if you have any questions.
