We concern ourselves with the health and well-being of residents, including health and human services and city programs for youth, families, and seniors, with a particular focus on women and girls.

Some of the public health issues we work on include:

  • domestic violence
  • sexual harassment
  • child abuse
  • LGBTQ health
  • hunger, and
  • youth violence.

We hope to work towards a City where everyone feels safe and healthy.

We work on public safety topics affecting women and girls together with the Committee on Public Safety and Criminal JusticeXổ số may mắn hàng tuần, as well as trauma issues with the Committee on Public Health.
